FOLLOW THAT CAR!!!!... It's a Hyundai Santa Fe heading West with two unemployed gals from Chicago. The car is loaded up with goodies including fuzzy dice hanging from the rear-view mirror and a Tinker-Bell steering wheel cover...we're sure to have a “fairy” good time!! Follow our travels and recommend people and places to visit and see! Better yet, rendezvous with us along the way! We'll post regular updates on our journey, and we'd love to hear from you as well! For anyone concerned, let me just assure you, the Ho's are in fine form. The Hyundai is humming and the Kerouac vibe is too. Trixie, their British-accented GPS guide, leads toward the promised land of the American West like some Kate Smitt obsessed torch song singer. From their proud embrace of the no doubt luxurious accomodations at La Quinta to their patience with me as I trotted out the most shameless civic boosterisms about OK City, our peanut M&M, cherry limeade enhanced tour of my hometown was a delight every minute. I found them a local mass to attend among the Palin worshiping, megachurch evangelicals...no doubt bolstering the sense of divine providence that accompanies our ladies of La Route 66. Westward, Ho's!!!...and godspeed to you both. H.
